Terms of Service
Who "we" are. In this document, "we", "us" and "our" mean the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, HTU Student Chapter ("IEEE RAS HTU"), which organizes MMRC 26. "You" means you, the reader.

These terms cover the MMRC 26 website at mmrchtu.tech and entry to the Maze Solver Robot Competition 2026, run by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, HTU Student Chapter. By registering a team, the person registering confirms they have read these terms and accepts them for every member of the team.
Who can enter
MMRC 26 is open to university students. A team has one to three people, and each member must be able to show valid student ID if asked. One person registers the team and becomes our point of contact. We send everything to that address, so make sure someone reads it.
You can't enter the same people under two team names, and you can't register a team without the knowledge of the people in it.
Registration and your place in the competition
Registering doesn't guarantee a place. Your registration is complete once we have received and verified your fee. Until then, your team is on record but not confirmed.
We may close registration at any time, including before an advertised deadline, if the competition is full. If we can't give your team a place after you have paid, we refund your fee in full. See the Payment & Refund Policy.
The information you give us must be accurate. If a team gives false details about its members, their student status or their IEEE membership to pay a lower fee, we may ask for the difference or withdraw the team.
The competition itself
The competition rules, covering the maze, the robot specification, the run format, scoring and disqualification, are in the rulebook and form part of these terms. We may change the rulebook before competition day, and we will email registered teams about any important change.
Your robot must be at the venue and pass inspection on competition day. If your team doesn't show up, you lose your place and we don't refund the fee.
The judges' decisions are final.
Your robot and your work
Your robot and its code belong to you. We claim no ownership of anything you build.
By entering, you agree that we may photograph and film the event, including your team and your robot, and use those images to promote MMRC and the chapter. If you would rather not appear, tell us in writing before competition day and we will do our best. We can't promise you won't show up in a wide shot of the hall.
Using this website
Use the site for its intended purpose. Don't try to break into the admin area, send automated registrations, upload files that aren't what they claim to be, or interfere with other people's use of the site.
If you do, we may remove your content and refuse you service.
What we don't promise
MMRC 26 is run by a student chapter of volunteers. We provide the site as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we can't guarantee it will always be up, that every date on it is final, or that it has no errors.
We accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change affects registered teams in an important way, we will email the address each team registered with. The version that applies to your registration is the one recorded when you accepted it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction over any dispute.
